What is Dahoam?
Dahoam is a tiny house and innovative infrastructure project based in Graz, Styria. The name comes from the Styrian dialect word for Daheim — at home — meaning the place where you truly belong, where you are safe, and where no one can take anything from you.
The project proves that a small, beautiful home can be completely independent from city pipes and grids — through circular water systems (greywater reuse, rainwater harvesting), renewable energy, and community-shared infrastructure — without sacrificing comfort, warmth, or culture.
The innovation: open-source systems for homes that make their own water, generate their own energy, and minimise waste — no expensive urban infrastructure required.
Rooted in the Green Heart of Austria, with ambitions across the EU.
